A relaxing choice for those who want to escape the hustle of the city for a moment, enjoy the silence and pamper with sauna, hot tub, winter swimming and luxury accommodation tailored for two or a bigger group. Together the main building Hillhouse and the Underhill lakeside sauna accommodate from 2 up to 18 people. Outside the summer the villa is rented also for romantic getaways for two.
With an amazing lake views, large grass yards and Finnish nature just outside the door offers you a peace of silence with luxury.
Our accommodations always include beds made ready for your arrival and towels. A hot tub (palju) and other additional services are available. Tahlo Hillhouse is Scandinavian in design, and it has parking space and large terraces. Get to know the destination!

Prices
The price is formed depending on availability, the duration of the stay, and the amount of guests. During summer the minimum lodging time is 2-3 nights. Feel free to ask for a quote for day events as well! Additional guests +28 € per person, final cleaning and hot tubs (palju) for an additional fee. You can add additional services to your booking also closer to your arrival.
Additional services
- A hot tub (palju), 150€ per night, including filling the tub with lake water, firewood and cleaning the tub after your stay. Heating takes from 2 during summer and 5 hours during winter.
- If your party would like to bathe in two hot tubs, we’re happy to bring another hot tub for a fee of 150€ per night.
- Heating up service 140€ per night per tub
- Final cleaning 290 €. If you prefer, you can handle the final cleaning yourself. We will provide all required cleaning products, equipment, and a checklist to follow.

- Rowing boats 29€ per boat per 24 hours. Additional days 10€ per boat per day.

Terms of booking
- Free cancellation within 48 hours after the reservation at least 14 days before check-in. If you need to cancel after 48 hours, we refund 50 % of the price. In case you need to cancel later than 7 days before the check-in date, there will be no refund.
- Pets are not allowed
- We kindly ask our guests to respect the silence policy and conduct in a peaceful and silent manner at the beach and outdoors after 10pm, thank you!
- Payment is made in advance in the online store, where you can also choose to pay by invoice.
- The person making the booking must be at least 18 years old
- The customer is obligated to immediately inform of and compensate for any damages done to any movables or property to Tahlo Ventures.

SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS
The main building Tahlo Hillhouse (136 m²), the Underhill beach sauna (20 m²), and the Summer Guest Room outbuilding (9 m²) accommodate up to 18 guests.
The main building has 4 bedrooms. The whole family can comfortably stay in carefully selected, Finnish quality beds. Additional space is provided by the pull-out sofa beds in the Hillhouse living room and lakeside sauna plus the Summer Guest Room during summer.
BA wooden crib and a travel cot are available upon request. Read more here about the beds and sleeping arrangements. Please let us know your bed preferences when booking, and we will do our best to accommodate your needs.
Bedroom 1

The Birch bedroom is the master bedroom of Tahlo Hillhouse. Room has it’s private entrance to the bathroom and toilet. A view of the beautiful Finnish landscape.
Bedroom 2

The double bed in the Hay pole bedroom can also be separated into two 90 cm wide single beds. Room can be connected and combined to bedroom 3, which offers comfort and flexibility for families with children, for example. You can admire the lake view directly from the bed.
Bedroom 3
A bunk bed with two 120 cm wide single beds. Access to the bedroom 2 if you wish. A compact additional bedroom with its own entrance, which can be combined with bedroom 2. Children’s number one favorite.
Bedroom 4
1 x Queen-size double bed (160 cm wide), also available as two single beds (80 cm width) if you prefer

The biggest bedroom of the Tahlo Hillhouse holiday villa hides several beds inside, and at its best, up to seven people can sleep in here. Luxury for one or two and comfort for family travel. A view of the front yard and the beautiful spruce forest.

The sofa and chair in the living room can be spread out to offer space and more sleeping options, but also make it possible to accommodate several people during short-time bookings. The living room also has blackout curtains as well as all the bedrooms.
Lakeside sauna

UTapio Anttila’s Finnish design Day&Nite sofa bed can be spread out into a double bed or two separate beds. During the winter season, the beach sauna is not quite as warm as the Hillhouse, but the space features additional heating alongside the underfloor heating.
Summer Guest House

Tahlo Summer Guest Room offers peaceful privacy in the embrace of a summer night.
During the summer season, the main building Tahlo Hillhouse is complemented by the Summer Guest Room. This compact 9 m² additional bedroom offers a good night’s sleep for two people in peace, just a few steps away from the main building’s amenities.

The best way to arrive is by private car, bicycle, boat, taxi, or chartered bus. The nearest bus stop is located 7 kilometers from Tahlo. You can also arrive at Tahlo by water; please let us know upon booking if you plan to arrive by boat, and we will assign the most suitable pier for you. The property is located along the Näsijärvi Cycling Route, and we are a cyclist-friendly destination. The swimming pier at Tahlo Hillhouse, featuring rainbow-painted railing, has place for two standard-sized motorboats, and an additional mooring spot can be arranged for a larger boat if needed.
