A beach by Lake Näsijärvi, the Tahlo waters, sauna and silence. What could be better? In Tahlo, just a 40 minute drive from Tampere, you can swim all year round, relax on the sauna benches built from local wood, enjoy the sunset on a large terrace or on the pier, relax in a hot tub (palju) and cook delicious meals by a campfire.
We currently rent two wood-heated, private saunas . Guests can heat the saunas themselves, and hot tubs are also available for additional fees. Our new winter swimming spot is at your use in Tahlo Underhill!
Tahlo Headland Sauna also provides a milieu for company parties and private events, as well as bachelor parties.

Sauna and cabin, new winter swimming spot with safe steps to the ice whole during winter, campfire site, outhouse, dock, beach volleyball court, child-friendly beach, small kitchen with basic equipment, refrigerator, freezer, microwave, running water. A hot tub (palju), rowing boats, more people, sauna warmed up and accommodation for two for a separate price. Catering and activities are also available for groups!
We rent the Tahlo Underhill lakeside sauna mainly in connection with the Hillhouse holiday villa. However, during the off-season and on weekdays, the sauna can also be booked separately! Ask for last minute deals.

BOOK A SAUNA AND WINTER SWIMMING EVENING
Tahlo webshop direct booking is available only on the Finnish version of the website – apologies for that! You can use it for example with google translator. You can also book by leaving us a booking request. We answer messages on weekdays.
The price of the sauna facilities always includes shampoos and soaps, and the following services are available for an additional price:
- Additional people after six participants + €10/person.
- Sauna already heated + €35
- A hot tub (palju ) can be rented separately, ask for an offer when booking!
- Accommodation for 2-4 people on a sofa bed + 25 €/person.
- Towels + €5/person
- Final cleaning €99.
- Rowing boats and the canoe €29 / day / boat
NOTE
The sauna is always cleaned between customers and we are taking extra steps to make sure we clean and disinfect all surfaces, door handles and light switches, in addition to our regular and thorough cleaning.
We are complying with THL’s (Finnish Institute for Health and Welfare) rules and regulations about cleaning and we offer necessary hygiene items such as gloves for our customers to use as well.

Tahlo Headland is a traditional Finnish lakeside sauna with the wonderful scenery of Lake Näsijärvi in the center of Pirkanmaa, on the Tahlo farm, 35 km from Tampere. Sauna, dressing room and a cottage with a wood-burning stove, covered terrace, gas grill, large yards, swimming dock and an outhouse. In addition to the sauna and its surroundings, you also have access to a hot tub (palju), which you can heat with firewood in 2-5 hours. Let the warm water soothe you and take a break in Tahlo’s scenic surroundings!
