Maarit Tuominen offers well liked, homemade food. She is especially known for her famous donuts at the Murole summer café.

Private chef Sami Hakamäki, who has achieved fame in top restaurants all over Finland and the world, uses his talent to create open fire lunches, dinner from local ingredients as well as all-day menus! His food can be enjoyed at the lean-to (laavu), Hillhouse and Headland.

In all dishes, we use local food as much as possible within the framework of raw material availability. Ask for menu examples to see!


Maarit Tuominen prepares delicious menus of home-cooked food. Would you like a hamburger buffet made of local meat, cooked salmon, veggieballs made from broad beans or locally farmed chicken with seasonal vegetables and side dishes from local products?

We make versatile use of raw materials such as meat, vegetables and spelt from producers in the surrounding area. Maarit’s breakfast of overnight oats, goat cheese and the vegeterian and vegan speciality broad bean veggieballs have become a real customer favorite.
